worthing war games club

worthing war games clubThe Worthing Wargame Club is a small friendly well-established group which has been in existence since the early 1970’s. Although based in Worthing, members are from all over the surrounding area.

We meet at The Training Room in the grounds of Swandean Hospital, Worthing. The Training Room is able to accommodate plenty of tables, and has local facilities. Access by road is easy, and there is plenty of parking. For detailed information on how to get to the club, contact one of the below.

We meet on the first and third Sunday of each month at 13:30 and finish around 19:00. We play all sorts of things and are open to any suggestions. Ancients using the DBM rules are the most popular, but don’t be surprised to see DBA, HOTT or Napoleonics.

The club has collected a vast amount of scenery, equipment and figures for use by club members. Usually you only need to bring your “army” with you  although this is not always necessary as there are always plenty of spare figures.

New members are always welcome, so come along, meet the members. Spectators will be as warmly welcomed as players, and you are sure to be invited and encouraged to join in the action.

If you have never been to the club before and are thinking about visiting, or would like to know more then contact either:
